I'm sitting here looking at the boats out in English Bay and eating some peanut butter M&Ms. Also, listening to the birds singing. What a great day it is today...
Amy and Katherine are coming over shortly and we're going to go to my local sushi place for a bite to eat. After that I'm not sure what we'll get up to, but it definitely won't be clubbing. Oddly, though both are quite a bit younger than me, neither one of them is into clubbing...?!
We're going to see Bif Naked at the Commodore on May 19th. Katherine does Bif's nails so we'll probably get some hook ups. If not, no big deal, all three of us have already met her before...and every seat is a good seat at the Commodore!
My Chanel earrings broke on my way home so I gave Cathy a call. She said to bring them in and they'll give me a new pair - I told my mom before I'd talked to Cathy and she was feeling sorry for me and was going to buy me a new pair...not necessary, though I told her if she wanted she could get me a different new pair ;)
I've been talking with my cousin Rebecca about going on some sort of trip next year. I'm thinking I'd meet her in London (she lives there) and go to France - for some reason it's always been one place I want to go...probably because I like to speak French...Paris and St. Tropez. I'd like to go somewhere else while over there, maybe Athens or Copenhagen. I've been to Athens before (loved it!) but never to Copenhagen...even though I'm half Danish. I should pay homage at some point, or so I figure! I think I could convince my boss to give me three weeks off work, one would probably be without pay, but whatever. Amy and I have plans to go to NYC but that can be done on a long weekend.
I got a letter from Akiko today, I haven't gotten a hand written letter in YEARS! But it was nice! (she's in Japan at the moment)
Well, that's about it for now...
I have a gut ache from the M&Ms. Wonder how I'll manage to fit some sushi in...
