The fishtank at the Lafayette Community and Family Resource Center. I'm volunteering there through my Spanish class and am actually really excited about it! I'll be going to people's appointments (prenatal, dentist, doctor, etc.) who don't speak any English and translating for them a couple hours a week. I'm gonna be really nervous but I know it will really help me improve my translating skills, and at the same time, I can help out some people who are in a difficult situation. The Center has all kinds of really good programs, I'd love to volunteer there more, maybe next semester? I guess I'll just see how it goes for now though. Oh, and things are looking up! I have an interview with Morgan Stanley on Tuesday, Also, I have discovered the many joys contained in a block of Velveeta. Time for a phone date with Reed! :-)
