The Joys of Washing Machines and bleach
There was a slight "incident" involving the washing machine and bleach. Behind cut for those who don't care :P
I currently do not know how much is ruined and how much was saved, I will find out once things come out of the wash.
My mom was washing out a cat box in the sink in the basement (a normal thing for my house) and left the cloth in the sink.
Our washing machine drains into that same sink.
So when the washing machine was doing its spin rinse thing the sink over flowed because the drain got blocked.
The washing machine had a white load which had bleach in it.
Those of you that know me well or can guess by my lj page, most of my wardrobe is BLACK. So as you can see a slight issue.
Everything that got wet has been rinsed out and put into the washing machine to try to get the bleach out. I hope the majority of it at least was able to be saved, its most of my favourite stuff.
It was all on the floor because after my mom was done the white load I was taking over the washing machine to do my laundry and I had to section off loads so yes there was a purpose :P.
Edit: Clothes are in the wash now, no apparent bleach stains yet :D
