Birthday Girl!!!!!!!!
Well yesterday was my birthday... It was pretty good dispite all the rain. I had a HUGE project to turn in at 8:15am.. so I got up at 5am to finish it.. got it done and to class just in time. whew... so then I went to turn in another assignment that was due by 11am. Came home.. napped... got up and went to work. I didn't mind work. And Thomas's mom brought me balloons and a card, and Thomas's brought me a deozen light peach roses. He has never bought me a dozen before.. so it was super nice. It is a tradition that he gives me flowers on my birthday. No one (except my parents) had ever bought me flowers before him. Anyway work was slow, but then I had to go to class. This class is a senior research class that only meets once a week, so he kept us.. well them.. I left during break because my honey was waiting on me at home, to take me to dinner. We went to Macon and ate a nice meal then went to wal-mart, and then came home and spent the evening together. It was so nice. He also bought me a wireless mouse, which is sooo freakin awesome. Yes I am behind the times, and I am amused easily.
I worked all day today, well till 4. My boss took me to lunch for my birthday. His wife's birthday is Saturday, and she was going to go, but couldn't get away from work. So we are goign to go sometime after things calm down. He said she had something for me. These people are the best.. they treat me so well, and just do so much for me! Anyway, when I got home from work I got something for T to eat, then he left for work. I will be glad when he is off night shift. I went to walmart then to get food and a couple of movies. I made a cake (2-layer butter cake with chocolate icing) and a pumpkin pie, and watched Stepford Wives. It was okay, and it had some good parts, but it didnt really hold my attention. I rented Elf, but I think I am going to watch that tomorrow since I will be home alone again. I wish I had someone to come visit me. (Not that I have anyone to come by when it's not a holiday) Oh well. I better get going.. I have laundry to finish and then I should hop in the shower and get in the bed. We have to be at T's mom's house around 12ish tomorrow to eat, and I have to get up to finish some other last minute things to take over there.
