Last night was a night... I thought it might be a dream until I woke up this morning...
So after work, T and I went for a walk - I am trying to get in shape not only for the wedding but for my overall health as well. Anyway.. we walked in the neighborhood - a little over a mile all together I think - we got home and each of us showered and we decided we wanted to go rent a movie.
By the time we get the movie I am STARVING - I am looking forward to getting home and warming up left over lasagna from the night before (YUM! - one of my favorites!) I am driving my car - turning left off of S. Elbert St onto Hwy 22 to go across the river and I see another car coming from the other direction turning right on Hwy 22... well.. they turn into MY lane the left lane instead of staying in the lane closest to them and they bump my bumper on the back passenger side - They slowed down like they were going to stop... they never did. Thank God Thomas was with me - he said to follow them and he called the police - We followed them into HANCOCK county!!! The officer didn't ticket them since there was no major damage but she is at fault. I think it is just paint on my car - we are going to try to clean it up this weekend ( I took pictures) if there are no major dings I am going to let it go - but if there are dents - I am going to have her insurance pay for it!
What makes it worse is that apparently I inherited from my mom a nerve problem that when I get in a situation like that I shake uncontrollably... it takes more energy to keep from shaking that it does to actually shake... and I can't MAKE myself shake like that! So I was driving - following these people that are ALL over the road and I don't know if they are drunk, high or hiding guns - trying not to shake and therefor my muscles are super tense. I think my back hurts more from trying not to shake than from any sort of whiplash I could have gotten! Anyway - it just seemed so unreal....
and that was my night...
