(no subject)
Hey guys and gals (whoever reads this!) So I have signed a letter of committment and will start a new job on August 8th. I am really excited about it too. I will be an administrative assistant to a real estate agent here in town. It is going to be something new, with a little more income as well as benefits! :) YAY!
It all happened pretty quick too.. I got a letter on Friday that I had an interview on Saturday, she called Saturday night and wanted to meet with me on Monday, and Sunday night she called and told me I had the job! So I went shopping for something to wear to my second interview. I walked out of goodies with a new long khaki skirt ($8!!) a cute sweater (1/2 off) and a pair of Khaki pants which I really needed. Total was a little of $60 but I had a $25 gift card thanks to Kat!!
I bought the first harry potter book yesterday.. only $5 at walmart for paperback.. I am trying to finish James Patterson's "Jack & Jill" right now. I have read two of his books "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" and "The Beach House" you all may know him better from the movies adapted from his books "Along Came a Spider" and "Kiss the Girls" Anyway.. he is my author that I am going to read all of his books next, since I am done with all of Nicholas Sparks' books. So between Harry Potter and James Patterson I should be kept busy.
Things are going well. Mom and Dad celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary yesterday. I dream of that day too with Thomas.
Kathleen's shower is fast approaching.. with no place to hold it yet.. I really need to get a hold of someone...
Oh well.. it's about time to go home!!
