Well, today is Founder's Day and I am nominated for a Founder's Day Award so I get to take off school. Woo!
... But actualy... nope. I am sad. I miss my high schoolers. The day seems to go by so much slower when I am not teaching (which is great on the weekends). I seriously miss those kids. Gross. I've become one of those sentimental student ( Read more... )

Don't worry about the orch warmups. Heck! I still cannot tune the cellos and violas so greatly because I've been hearing E string for so long down to G string that I when I hear their C string...ugh it's bad. BUT it'll become easier once you get over the hurtle.
Remember: Orchestra kids rock so much more than band kids ;)
