.::messily arousing::.
with a confused heart...
the charcoal presses to the page.
unknowing what they will create...
they take a moments pause.
after the hesitation,
passion erupts.
charcoal glides over the open spaces of page.
feeling new boundaries...
finding familiar movements.
the soft solid leaves trails of dark powder.
in the unbridled movements
a finger grazes the page,
feeding energy to the passion of creation.
random sparks of directions begin to emerge.
thoughts become a picture
a tangible dream...
the fingers find way to participate.
smearing the lines and blending the smudges.
the rich color travels to the wrist...
the skin soon becomes the new canvas.
a finger rises to brush away
a stray strand of hair...
leaving a mark on the cheek.
the poetry's rhythm begins to slow.
once moving fast
up, down, side, side, up...
the motions turn into caresses on the page.
soft strokes
and delicate touches.
satisfaction has been reached.
softly,
my lips blow the dark chalk away.
uncovering a beauty of a masterpiece.
simple and unique.
it is mine.
the charcoal is my lover.
and we made art.
i had it's love marks on my skin for proof.
i turn the shower on...
the charcoal stained fingerprints
slowly wash away.
as the remanence of
the left over love
runs down my body...
and mixes with the water
it turns streams to gray.
and my feet delight
as they form ballerina movements
and make toe-swirlies.
i'm exhausted...
and the page continues to glow out of lust...
the glow of art.
the glow of us.
