(no subject)
hmmm...well seeing as i havent updated in almost 2 months i thought it was about time....
things have been CRAZY lately...i've been pulling 14 hour days between work and school...it sucks the big one...i'm starting some student teaching soon...hopefully if the teacher ever calls me back...i just got another job today...its through school...just for the semester...i'll be planning a teaching program for one of my classes...
friday i got a call from the grad cert dept at mcc...they told me that i needed a social science class to graduate becuase they changed the program codes...but everything finally got figured out today and in a nutshell...i'm set to graduate in december :)
friday i also went to erics cousins wedding...it was a lot of fun...well when we got there it was...the wedding started at 5...i had taken the day off but then ended up workin a 10-3 shift...so i got home around 3:30 quickly got ready...talked to the lady from mcc for like 15 minutes....cried for a little bit longer...then left by like 4:15ish...it was hectic but the night got better...i line danced with 2 guys there...we were the only ones dancing because we knew the dance to footloose...fun times...i met some people there and we all stayed at the hotel (it was at the diplomat) so we hung out all night...and then we got plates because its near tahous...fun times...i took saturday off because i needed a break and didnt know what time i'd be home from the wedding...so i went 4 wheelin with eric and his cousin then i came home and slept which was sooooo nice!
school is sooo incredibly hectic and stressfull...i have 60 hours of student teaching to do and an application to turn into geneseo by december 1st...the teacher hasnt called me back yet...i'm hoping she will SOON so i can start...i have to have 30 hours in by october...tonight is my night to catch up on all the homework i havent had time to do (and see what i'm doing......)i cant wait til everything is set with geneseo...that will be one huge load off my shoulders...4 months and 3 days til classes start there!
all of us went camping the last week in august...it was really fun...matt took his boat so we got to go tubing and knee boarding and such....we camped at fairhaven....erics parents were camping just down the road from us so we went to visit them our last night there and coming back a deer ran right into erics car...it scared the &*@^ outta us...it messed up his fender...then when we got back to the site there was a skunk there....then we had 2 raccoons...that was a bad night...but then we all ended up staying another night at the other campground with erics parents so it ended well...
i went to see big & rich ("save a horse, ride a cowboy" if you didnt know) and brooks n dunn and the warren brothers at darien on sunday 8/21.....it was sooo much fun! i went with kelly from work, eric, aj (kellys bf, my new brother, and all of ours friend), and my other friends scott, rob and matt and matts girl carolyn...soooo much fun...after the concert though i had a little accident...i was being typical me dancing in the back of erics truck and i cracked my arm on erics full can of somethin...it started spraying all over and i immediately had this huge welt on my arm...it hurt worse than anything i've ever done before-it brought me straight to my knees...i let it go monday and tuesday...then got it checked by the doctor wed...my whole wrist was black and i had a big bump sticking out...the doctor said he didnt think anything was broken but it was really swollen and bruised and i couldnt move my thumb so he gave me a brace to wear for 2 weeks...i went back on friday the day of the wedding and they said that i had soft tissue damage and i have a blood clot...so i have to go back in 3 weeks to get it checked again...oh well...thats me for ya...

oh yeah...while i'm thinkin of it...does anybody have camping pics?!?!
well i have TONS more to say but i think i've written enough for now....plus i gotta get crackin on this homework...talk to you all later!
