Well the kids are well again... they ended up getting sick within two weeks of getting better!
Not fun to have little ones throwing up so frequently.
Now the Viking has a nasty cold. He is supposed to be leaving later today to head for St. Louis again... but they are going to wait and see what the weather is like before deciding if they leave tonight or tomorrow morning.

Plan on making Gingerbread luminaries this week with Mallora. That should be entertaining. Promised my Mum I'd take lots of pictures so she could see Mallora's first gingerbread experience. Too bad she can't have time with the Mistress of gingerbread.. lol, she'll just have to settle for the Mistress' long time slave ... err... Assistant.

We are all pretty much on baby watch waiting to see when My elder sister is going to pop. She's due the beginning of next month so we'll see how long she goes. Tee hee.

I've managed to adjust to my new glasses rather well. They aren't giving me too many problems. I haven't really noticed a difference in my vision.. it's mostly getting used to the shaped and size of the glasses.

I'll put up the Kids Christmas portraits after I post this in their picture folder for everyone to see. Won't post them in the journal itself because they are my parents Christmas present and I'd rather not have them see them while my younger sister check their LJs.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I miss my mum's grapefruit spoons every time I eat grapefruit. *sigh*

The kids have only been to the babysitters twice because of holidays and the kids getting sick twice since we started this. Friday will be the third time... IF the weather is good enough for it. Then only if she thinks she can keep them again will they go back in Jan.
My kids get into things and are nosy. The other children she watches are little drones, they just sit and watch tv and play with a few toys. My children want to explore. Since she'll now be watching a tiny newborn she isn't sure if she can handle my kids and a new born. I understand it's fine. She's a nice lady but doesn't really seem to be used to dealing with creative thinkers. Just by seeing the gates she uses to keep the other little ones out of mischief I could tell she was going to be kept on her toes with my kids.
I'm sure it would get better the longer they are there and get used to things... but they might not get the chance for that.
Hopefully I'll still be able to get information from her about the preschools and get Mallora in one next season.

Well that's about all I can think to ramble about at the moment. Just hoping we don't loose power with all the ice and bad weather heading this way.
My grandmother doesn't have power out in OKC, but she does still have a phone. Everyone else out in OK is still fine.

Have fun everyone and take care!
