I knew there was something I forgot to say in my last post. My darling hubby went on a business trip to western TX last week and when he returned he brought me two very lovely pair of turquoise and silver earrings and a beautiful pendant. They are just so very lovely it's a shame they have to go on me. LOL
He finally found a chain for his Thor's hammer. Most of you may not know that the first thing I bought the Viking was a pewter knot-work Thor's hammer... ten years ago. It was put on a black silk cord and I put it around his neck... that silk cord has lasted all this time. We've looked for years to find the right chain and normally couldn't find one the right length, but he finally got one. I'm keeping the silk cord... I just couldn't bare to throw it away after so many years of service.
He also bought Mallora a darling tiny pair of turquoise pierced earrings.
And baby boy Thor got a little plushie Armadillo.
I'll try to get a good picture of me wearing the pendant and earrings to post at some point because they are just too lovely not to share.
On a side note: Mallora has expressed her desire to have her ears pierced for her upcoming birthday. What does everyone think about that? Should I ask her doctor? Do they do that sort of thing anymore? Would it be best to just go to the mall? Is there an age limit there?
