Farewell Yahoo (JSC-ST stuff)

*sad sigh* Well our time is coming to an end here, we've had some
great times here, met alot of great people, but time has come to
move on, I hope that everyone decides to come to the new home of the
team. The board has been so far a great way to keep track of events
and discussion, as with Yahoo if you missed a post you missed out, a
quality that somewhat became a nuisance to most (as I would repost
giving other members that might have missed the info the chance to
be part of it), the new home provides so many features that Yahoo
couldn't, we have the ability to post pictures once again (who
doesn't want a little JC to look at?), there are topic boards to
choose the information you want to access, team areas (area leaders
who run each team run their area), lyrics are posted (hopefully we
can find someone willing to donate space for MP3's and Wav files for
interviews and song storage), there is so much more to the new home
than Yahoo could ever offer I hope that you all decide to make the
move.
With every goodbye there is pain and sorrow...Amaya, I thank you for
giving me the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful group. I
respect that you have decided to move on, its for the best when your
heart isn't in it anymore, being stuck in something causes a burden
and I hope some has been lifted for you. I thank you for the love
and friendship you have shown to me, I thank you for believing and
trusting in me, I thank you for you being YOU- you are an incredible
person and I am blessed that I got to know you, I hope that even
though you are cutting ties with the group that you do not cut ties
with the freinds you made within it.
To EVERYONE, I hope it doesn't end here, the Yahoo group restricted
us from getting to know each other but there are more opportunities
awaiting on the board. So far we have 115 members, thats a FAR cry
from the 700 here, its hard for me to fathom that close to 600
members were not active (being as the bouncing list is only at 23,
which tracks activity). I didn't expect the whole group to come for
whatever reasons, honestly I wasn't even predicting that half would
follow, I know that is so pessimistic of me but so far its fallen
less than my expectations.
I always say too much...on to the new addy...
