I tried writing a real review...I really did. But I just COULDN'T put this all into words.
So I hope these pictures will do :)
Kylie called me up at 8:30 pm the day before we left for Connecticut because it turned out that she could come with us to the show after all. This of course made me and everyone else quite happy :]
Morgan called just as we got out of Maine, saying that she was going to try and come to the show, but only if she could get off from work. Everyone was excited, I love my sister and I really was looking forward to her coming.
She called back a few minutes later and told us that she probably wasn't going to come :[ OH WELL.
"I don't even know...what I'm doing here." - Kylie every 23 seconds.
The toilets at this rest area were like...bottomless pits and there was a breeze coming up.
We picked up Julie and everyone was excited and ready to head on the road again! Two and a half hours to go.
We had plenty of room...just kidding.
These aren't all my pictures, by the way. Meanwhile Julie's camera is the best thing ever.
I had to pee a lot.
<33333
"Here's some ketchup." - Mikaela.
"That's like the weirdest thing I've ever seen." - Julie.
"The ketchup?" - Kim.
Oh, Kylie.
We got to Toad's Place around 4. There was a huge iceberg where we had to set up our stuff so we made Kylie chip away at it. She did a really good job.
There were only two people in front of us. Amanda and Amanda. They were sweethearts!
"Yeah I used to do this all the time at the deli." - Kylie.
Crying because my feet were cold. Then Kim gave me hand warmers and I was good!
The face.
Thank god for hand warmers and cuddling.

Apparently Hanson asked if they could have this poster. Yeah, I don't get it either!
Hahahahaa no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Oh, we were so cute.
Having an intense tampon discussion.
:D
The burrito filled with blankets and pillows and other stuff. Kim's idea. We just dragged the burrito over to the front of the line and set up the tent!
Then it started to pour. EVERYONE IN THE TENT, QUICK.
Mitten puppet!
So this night was pretty intense. Our tent leaked so our blankets were soaked and it just wouldn't stop raining. We slept off and on, but it was basically one of the worst nights of our lives. I woke up at 2:23 to The Walk playing on my iPod, and sat up. I had to pee so badly. I can't help it, rain just makes me want to pee. I woke up Kim and asked if she could come with me. We opened up the tent because we heard someone walking by and we needed to ask them where the nearest open bathroom was. A Yale student named Andrew told us where it was, and asked us if he could do a quick interview. Kylie and Julie sat up. We said yes, of course. He asked us some really great questions. Before he left he told us that he was interviewing Hanson later that day and that we might be able to meet them. "Meet me at the corner down there at 2:45 and I'll see what I can do."
We were so happy, but we also didn't want to get our hopes up. A few seconds later we pinky promised each other that we wouldn't tell anyone what had happened that night, and lied down in our damp sleeping bags and tried to fall asleep.
We were so relieved that morning to leave our tent and get to the hotel room so we could shower and get warm!
My parents got us ponchos :)
Titanium Joe = amazing.
Then the Portland girls arrived! Hooray. They had ponchos too, except they were cuter than ours.
Then Hanson squirreled out of a white car and sauntered into the building. They looked amazing as usual.
It was a little after 2 so we decided to wait for Andrew at the corner he said to wait at. 2:30 rolled by, then 2:45, then 2:50. No Andrew. Kim and Kylie had gone back to the line. At that point none of us thought anything was going to happen. It was just too good to be true. But Julie and I stayed at that corner for a few more minutes. I told her that he probably wasn't going to show up, so we began to walk back to wait in line like everyone else. Just then, I decided to look across the street. Andrew was waving at us.
Julie called Kim and Kylie.
"I'm going to do the interview now and in a few minutes I'm going to walk down the street with them. I was thinking that you could like, stay here and pretend you don't know what's going on, and when we walk by you can ask for a picture."
We thanked him and he left. We waited for what seemed like forever. Even then it didn't seem like anything was going to happen.
This might be my favorite picture of Kim and I ever.
A half hour passed and I was stressing. I don't know why but I acted like a bitch to everyone and I was so angry. SORRY GUYS. dhfjdsgkg.
But it was okay because a few minutes later, we saw our favorite boys walking down the street with Andrew. We crossed the street and pretended not to notice. Hahahaahaha.
Andrew pointed at us. "These are the girls I was telling you about."
Taylor, looking so clean and smelling like powder offered his warm hand. "It's great to meet you guys."
"Do you guys want to come to a class taught by Hanson? You're invited."
So Kim, Kylie, Julie and I followed Hanson across the street and into the building with a sign on the door that read Authorized Yale personnel and their guests only.
We were Hanson's guests. I wanted to puke into Taylor's beverage.
These next few were taken by Julie!
After the Q&A session we walked up to them one by one and asked for pictures.
(these next few are Kim's pictures)
Looking at Kim's CD. "The Japanese import. Nice."
Then he flipped through like he had never seen it before.
"Taylor, take a quick picture with us?"
"Okay, for you guys :)"
Isaac was so sweet. So, so sweet. And happy. And toothy.
Kylie hadn't gotten a picture yet, go I sort of grabbed Zac's hand as he was walking away and asked him if he could take a picture with her, but he was talking to someone else at the same time so I don't think he heard or was even paying attention to me. When I realized that I was just standing there holding his hand, I felt really dumb and let go. dfhsjafkgsg.
After we got outside again, I caught up to Zac and asked him again if he could take a picture with Kylie really quickly. "Okay, if she can do it while I'm walking!" So him and Kylie put their arms around each other and took the walk across the street. IT WAS EFFING ADORABLE. He was smiling the entire time :)
Then we walked back to the line and told my parents. We were crying. We were so happy. We couldn't believe what we had just done.
The Amanda's and us right before the doors opened!
Kim and I, duuuuh.
I'm not gonna lie, I really wish I could have gotten a picture with Katie...I was too afraid to ask! hdgjsdkgdsg.
Joe will always be our favorite homeless man.
Happiest girls everrrr.
Oh hay, beautiful.
I'm really glad we were in front of Isaac. I seriously love him so much more than I did before.
Yeah, Isaac definitely makes my heart soar.
My camera has like no zoom, sorrryyyy.
It looks like he's petting that girls head.
I've Been Down is amazing. I cannot wait to hear the studio version.
Kim took this!!! I LOVE IT.
It was such a great concert :) The setlist was perfect and they were so happy and the crowd was awesome.
After the show my dad picked us up and took us back to the hotel. We collapsed in our room. I think I cried myself to sleep. It was the best day ever. By far.
