When in Rome...

I was here at work, surfing the web during my down time and I noticed something. I was reading the news and saw the story where one of the british soldiers who was captured by Iran got to speak on the media. I noticed she was wearing the traditional middle-eastern apparel. Of course she had to be covered bc she was a woman. This makes me more than a little upset. Why? Bc they made her dress that way!

"Well, she is in their country & when in Rome..." Yes, I do understand that. I agree with that, to a point. Just what would these Muslim nations do if we captured one of their women and made them take off their traditional garb and paraded them on our national TV stations and posted it on international news? I mean, we do not wear that in America, and I bet they don't wear that in any other country either. So, "When in Rome," right? Apparently only if you are in Iran.
