First target the skin, talk about the mast cells and histamine that causes inflammation and erythema. At once, it was just one type of many allergies but later on it developed into two. WTH. I went to the dermatologist for more than one month and took two kinds of antihistamines- loratadine and hydroxyzine. The hydroxyzine makes me fall asleep at night while studying and makes me wake up late in the morning that causes tardiness on my first subjects. haha. Always the haggard scene in the morning running and rushing up to the fourth floor of Nursing Building without using the elevator.
The allergies cleared up but after one day...
Sunday morning I went to the mall to buy school supplies and eat lunch then go home by 6 p.m., I felt heat generalized in my whole body then i checked my temperature and it was 39.5 degree Celsius. I thought it was just normal because i got tired all the time so I studied for my return demonstration due Thursday. It's Physical Assessment from head-to-toe. Honestly of all the first batch who performed in our class, only two passed so, the pressure! Admit it, it's really hard. We're only given 40 minutes to 1 hour to complete all procedures with interruptions from our clinical instructors asking us the rationales and types, kinds, what, why, and the like. =( So there, long story. The next day, I still have high fever, call it intermittent fever and the tonsillitis- grade 2 or 3. So Tues. morning, I didn't go to school but instead went for a check-up. The doctor found out that there I have tonsillitis and urinary tract infection. The med tech presented us the laboratory result- CBC and Urinalysis. In the blood test, it shows there that i have plenty of white blood cells than what is normal. The normal is about 5,000 to 9,000 white blood cells per micro liter of blood and i got 19,000. About the urine, there's protein in it and 19,000 wbc per micro liter of blood. I also have this cough and colds that makes me hard to breathe so the doctor advised me to be hospitalized but i opted to go home with oral medicine because i don't want to stay in the hospital with the sick as well and I can't do the things I have to do there with dextrose.
Because I'm so sad that I missed a day in school and God knows how hard I'm trying to get good grades despite the hard, challenging subjects plus the machine medical professors. haha. kasi it's like thye dont give considerations at all. konting mali mo lang punitin na yung paer mo sa harap ng buong klase. mali ka lang ng procedure ipapahiya ka na. ahahaha. humilition talaga. but i admit they are so smart naman talaga and they deserve good students. So there I tried to attend classes Wed. morning. omg. When I climb two flight of stairs I suddenly felt that i cant breathe at all. I felt weak and got dizzy, the surrounding got dark muntik nko mag faint talaga nun. God thing may kasama ako nun. Then Anatomy class. Super cold although I wore jacket na nun, habang may class umiiyak ako kasi I can't bear the temperature eh. May quiz pa naman nun. At breaktime bumigay na si immune system at nagpunta na ng clinic. I met the handsome nurse I adore. ahaha. And then the doctor she said I should go home and take a rest and be back kapag kaya ko na.>> excuses me sa retdem.
So to sum it up, I need to work double time. Ang dami kong hahabulin grabe. kaya ciao I'll prepare and study and take drugs na.
