Musical Memories
I've been feeling very nostalgic lately. Probably because of my grandpa and the fact that we’ve been playing the 90's station at work all week which is like reliving my teen years over and over again. On my way home today Rain King came on the radio which always makes me think of Lhohaid, Ryn and Dan. So that got me thinking about other songs that whenever I hear them I think of a certain person, place or event.

Pretty much anything by Alintis Morisset or Jewel- High school and cramming eight people into my Subaru Justy after school for rides home (I was the worlds smallest school bus)or writers club meetings/Scribes editing sessions that lasted longer then the sun.
Jump Around, Whoop There It Is and that song by Kris Kross- Junior High school dances and sitting on the side lines with Gwen(then know as Jenny) Kirsten, Emily and the Michelles watching the Duffy twins dance with 20 girls
Mustang Sally, Stormy Monday and She's a Lady Down On Love (by Alabama)- My Dad
Time of your life and Closing Time- Senior year of high school
On The Road Again (Willy Nelson) - My brother. I think it was the first song he ever learned he could barely talk but he would go around singing it over and over and telling people that Willy (pronounced Wiwe) was his buddy.
Thriller- 9th grade talent show, man we were dorks!
That Journey song that I can't think of the name(and it's really bugging me)- John Goodin and Karaoke sessions at 1821 (there's also a Michael Jackson song that I can't think of that reminds me of the same thing)
Anything by Bon Jovi- My Aunt, Julie, Crunchys and Deebo
