Looking for this lost fic?
I'm looking for a fic which takes place in an alternate universe (Maybe Nero won?) where the crew has been fighting a war for a number of years. Kirk sends Chekov back into the past, and as Chekov sees all of his old friends that have died and Sulu, his lover, he has to decide between allowing them to die or not. I also remember that it was mentioned breifly that Kirk and McCoy were lovers before McCoy died, and when Chekov got back to the war world Kirk asked if Chekov saw McCoy.
