Busy, busy, busy.
Independence Day was a good time. Just Jessica's house til late, watching the West Wing and doing American trivia. Also, we made her bulletin board recording electoral votes and who we thought would win each state. And, in the course of human events (how appropriate is that?), I asked a good 40% of my address book why they're dirty Communists. Three of you answered. Thanks, I guess? :)
We actually worked on our APUSH assignment. We tried to Brycejosh, but he wasn't working Saturday night. Then we went to Allan's and hit the books. Explorers aren't all that fascinating, unless Cibola/The Fountain of Youth is involved.
Chels, Trent, and Kristi came over Monday. The girls ended up staying the night, and though Kristi fell asleep around two, Chelsee and I stayed up all night. I don't really remember a lot about what we discussed, thanks the hazy memories of my exhausted mind. But we tried to see the sunrise and walked around my cul-de-sac at five in the morning. Around seven we went for a morning swim. I never realized how close I feel to Chelsee.
I've been thinking about my Halloween costume. Ignore the fact that I literally have about $0.72 to my name and I should be doing schoolwork in the thirty seconds in between being overly social. I'm definitely going for Lolita. Red heart glasses, red nails, red ribbon in my hair. Simple black ballet flats, or hopefully maryjanes (I like
these). I'm thinking
this dress, with a red or white shirt under it. If I can find the maryjanes,
these or
these in white. Also, a heart-shaped lollipop and a nametag with Dolly Haze messily written on it.

Also, I asked Kyle The Cute Nerdy Boy Who Works At Barnes&Noble And I Kind Of Stalk for an application. He gave one to me, saying that even if they aren't hiring they always accept applications. So fuck you, Pointy Bald Man. I want to hand it in to him, with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. But I guess I'll feign civility and won't go looking for a fight. *rolls eyes*
If that stunning career choice doesn't work out, I'm applying at OfficeMax. Because I am passionate about office supplies.
