sweet mother of pearl, did I fuck up. I tried to write directly to someone who had posted a comment in a journal here. I don't know how this service works; that's why I'm a cook. I didn't realize that my "breezy" hello (which unfortunately came across as a slutty proposition, which was not my intent) would be plastered all over everywhere, apparently. Three people wrote me to criticize (fairly harshly) my timing, which admittedly was poor. In the context of the thread, it was even more offensive and more humiliating. That'll teach me to post things I haven't thought through, in a medium I don't understand, to people to whom I have not been introduced, at 5 am....shit.
