You may recall the
Goth Barbie pink bedroom in my house. Kevin could not stand that color, so we went to Bentonville (figuratively, of course) and bought some paint in colors called
Purple Grandeur and
Peruvian Violet. In the store we agreed that the violet was not pink. On the wall? Not so sure. We looked at it for a couple of days and agreed that it looked like grandma's sewing room or something. So we went and bought a quart of a color called
Roasted Pepper and I gave up the sea sponge I had in the shower. The
combined effect was really wonderful, and we couldn't have planned it.
