far west billiards
Jefu has a student who owns a bar in downtown Spokane. Far West Billiards is across the street from the newly renovated Fox theatre. Five pool tables and about as many tables for eating. I ordered tempura vegetables and pasta carbonara. Yum. The guys had a French dip and a burger. The tempura was perfect, the carbonara tasty (though the pancetta was cut up a bit too small for me), and the French fries perfect and hot and crisp and golden (which takes some doing). And the beautiful inked boy who served us? Rawr! And the cook, who came out to see what the chef thought of the meal, another adorable boy, wore a t-shirt that said "My Butt Itches." I was on my best behavior; I didn't offer to scratch that itch with my teeth.
