settling in
I am fairly well installed in the big green bedroom, queen bed in one corner, TV and stereo and 2 pieces of modular sofa in another, desk with printer, coffeemaker, laptop, Brita pitcher, coffee grinder, and jar of French roast in a third corner. All the books are moved and on shelves, and I have two shelves left over. I went up to work and pulled a couple dozen stout boxes out of the cardboard bin. The kitchen is mostly moved into boxes on shelves in the garage. I still have to pack the dishes and pots and pans, deal with the drafting table and dining table, move two more pieces of sofa, move all the jars of home canned food and the metal shelves. And clean the apartment. And move the bikes. But that's nearly it.
