In other news...
My boss has not yet responded to my latest email telling him I was not cleared to return to work yet...
I went to a theme party in which you were to dress as your favorite Hollywood Star over the weekend... The party was full of people, only 6 of us were actually in some sort of costume... Obviously, when going to a party with other gay people with that particular theme, one would expect female characters, but the theme did not say that and I did not go that route... Nor did 3 of the others... I, however, do not have a favorite hollywood star that i look like or could imitate so I chose to go incognito instead, pretending to be a star that was trying to not be recognized...
So, there's me in a golf hat, sunglasses, a sport coat, tee shirt and jeans... There were some who asked who I was supposed to be, to whom I replied, "who do you think?" and then whatever answer they gave I would go with that... Some couldn't come up with any so I told them I was not telling since I was incognito... I freaked out a few people since they really didn't know who I was at all, meaning they didn't recognize me as being me... So, my guise worked as I wanted... Since I was taking pictures from my corner spot, we decided I was a director by the end of the evening. Some were freaked out because I was just sitting in the corner (with other people) and not dancing or anything, since I can't with my injured knee, and they didn't know who I was nor could they see my eyes since I was wearing sunglasses in the dark... I couldn't see either, partially because of the sunglasses in the dark and because they were not prescription glasses and I can't see well without my glasses anyway.
The new kitty is very affectionate... And Niko doesn't like that... Now they compete over me... silly kitties...
