Hehe... Oh how I missed the Dunces. :-) I actually spoke to the executive chef of the Marriott (Dumb Ass Dunce) when I got this job and told him what I was doing with creating a menu and starting breakfast in a place that's been around for 25 years but has never served anything other than Pizza and Subs and he asked me if I was crazy...

I laughed and said I must be... after all, I worked for him for all those months... hehe... I don't know if he quite understood the sarcasm, but it was amusing...

I've got at least 3 new dunces so far for this job, one being the manager (you know me and managers...) but the other's are actually answering to me so I can at least keep them under my thumb and the manager seems to be keeping his distance from me. I think he figured out that I can tell that he's full of it when he claims to have as much experience as a chef as he says...

But, we shall see how it goes in the long run... So far so good... I've been really kinda hard on some of these people who are used to standing around and doing nothing, but so far the owner seems to like me doing so... I simply cannot tolerate lazy people and some of the people who have been there for years are the laziest of them all...

Ohhhhhhh yes, I certainly remember you and certain managers and the rants there of ;P Do keep us informed too, because this latest endevor really sounds like fun and inquiring minds want to know ;)
