American Idol Results...
Don't read if you have not seen yet....
I have concluded that about 17 million of the 18 million or so votes were cast by deaf people...
I was not surprised by Kimberly Caldwell being in the bottom 3, though she was not in my bottom 3, I did predict that America would put her there...
Carmen was and should have been in the bottom 3...
And while Trenyce was not in my bottom 3 nor did I predict she would be put there by America, I was not really surprised that she was... I kinda had a feeling it would be an all female bottom 3 this week and I was pleasantly surprised that Kimberly Locke, who was the best by far last night, was not placed in the bottom...
But damn it all to hell when they sent home the wrong blond girl... Do people even listen to them sing or are we going by looks and not talent? Kimberly should not be going home, Ricky should not have been sent home last week and Carmen is not and never was good enough to be in the top 6...
The producers of this show need to seriously look at their voting procedure because the whole point of this show is to pick someone who can be a Pop Idol and therefore make the record company money... While I know I said that at this point, I would not run out and buy a CD from Kimberly Caldwell, she was not the worst last night, nor was she really even in the bottom 3 of the worst... I would not now, nor do I think I would ever purchase a CD of songs sung by Carmen... Not yet anyway... She's got talent somewhere, but it is way underdeveloped and she needs a great deal more time and practice before she'll be a superstar...
I know, I'm ranting about a TV show, but it's better than getting political again. :-) In the end, I do hope that the best people make it to the final 3, and those people are still in the running, though #4 and #5 (at least in my opinion) were sent home this and last week...
