I love working days

So I worked a 10 to 6 shift at the Commodore today. I love them, I spent the day down in the carvery station feeding people and watching the British open. Tough day!

So what is a carvery station you ask? Well it is basically a plated buffet. We have to roasted meats, beef and something else, and then a fish and usually a chicken entree. With this the customer gets two types of vegetables and both roasted potatoes and mashed potatoes. And then there is always a sauce/gravy for the food.

On really busy days we can do over two hundred plates in an eight hour shift. On really slow days we are lucky to do 40 to 50.

Today was really slow. :)
