I should have known that things were going too well for them to stay that way. First Prue and Phoebe were at the beach today to give me and Leo some alone time at the manor, and Prue saw some kind of shadowy thing hovering beside a woman at the beach. Phoebe couldn't seen it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. Prue thinks it could be demonic.
Then, Inspector Davidson, the guy inspecting Cole's disappearance, showed up on our doorstep and threatened to charge Phoebe with murder if she doesn't tell him what she knows about Cole and where he is. Apparently Cole's landlady was murdered today, and Davidson thinks that Cole did it and that Phoebe's covering for him. I don't think that Cole did it, though. Something else is going on here. Maybe it has to do with that shadowy thing Prue saw. Davidson's partner is the woman that Prue saw at the beach, so she's following her to try to protect her. Which is interesting, since Davidson's partner is following Phoebe...
Leo took me to a whitelighter reception this evening that some of his whitelighter friends threw for us. That was different. I wasn't exactly thrilled about going after all the fuss they put us through before we got married, but it wasn't so bad. Except for the fact that they gave us this fugly lamp, and Leo loves it, and now we're arguing over where to put the damn thing. It's in the parlor for now, but I really hope it doesn't stay there.
