Martha spent the weekend here, and a wonderful time was had by all. It was great to see her again, especially after she's been gone for so long. Thanks for coming up to visit us, Martha. :) We loved having you here.
Phoebe sprained her ankle today, poor girl. She has it all wrapped up in an ace bandage and has been hobbling around the house.
Prue has a late lunch date this afternoon with some guy, and she looks like she's off to the inquisition every time she talks about it. I don't know why she's even seeing him. She never seems to be excited about going out with him.

Dan is back in town. He was gone on some out of state construction project for a while, but he's back now, and I have no idea what to say to him. He's gonna expect me to say something, because the last time I saw him, he handed me evidence that Leo died in 1942 and thinks he's some kind of con artist or something. He's gonna be pretty pissed when he sees that Leo's still around, and I can't tell him that Leo's a whitelighter.
And as if that weren't enough to worry about, we have an... unexpected house guest. This box showed up on our front porch today, and when Prue and Phoebe and I opened it, there was a dusty old vase inside. Phoebe tried to brush the vase off, and when she did, out came a genie. He says the only way to get rid of him is to make three wishes. Too bad there's not some other way. He's REALLY annoying.
It doesn't make sense that he would just show up here. Someone had to send him. Leo doesn't trust him at all. He says that genies are tricksters by nature, that they'll do anything to get you to make three wishes so that they can be free, and that their wishes always have unintended consequences. For example, if you wish for a car, a family member will die and you'll inherit their car. The good news is that genies aren't inherently evil, so as long as we don't wish for anything, he can't hurt us. But then we're right back where we started, because we can't get rid of him until we make three wishes...
We're leaving the genie with Phoebe for the afternoon. I have to go set up at the club and Leo's going to help me, and Prue's going on her date. Hopefully she won't make any wishes while we're gone.
