(no subject)
i got all of my "college shopping" done yesterday. good times. as per ahser's suggestion, i got cotton jersey sheets. just like sleeping in a super comfy t-shirt, or at least that's what it supposed to be like. we shall see. they didn't have a great selection in terms of color for the "twin x-long" set, since it's whatever is left over from the "back to school" season. and during that time, we didn't have my info, so we couldn't do any of this type of shopping. oh well. i managed to get 2 sets: orange and "sky" blue (its almost a bright teal). and, thankfully they had twin x-long mattress pads. i don't want to be sleeping on some grody mattress with only my jersey sheets as a barrier. *shivers*
lets see, what else did i get? ah, yes. a pillow. i might need that, right? also, 2 sets of towels, one in "green tea" and the other in "bittersweet chocolate"--the names seem to go very well with my studies, don't you think? and thats about it. we already got me a nice iron, and i already went "business attire shopping", so i think everything i need to get here has been bought. now i just need to pack. we're supposed to be sending the bulk of my stuff out on monday, so that it will have almost a week to get there.
