i am so surprised at how efficient i've been this holiday season. i usually have just started the bulk of my shopping right about now. however, i already ave most of my presents wrapped and under the tree. and they've been there ever seince last saturday, when we got out tree (but i had the shopping all done before that). I just need to finish a couple of things i'm crocheting, and wrap those, and i'll be set. i guess it's because i haven't had any huge things (aka school) to take up the bulk of my time. i mean, i'm only working like 10 hours a week. it sucks that December is the slowest month for the restaurant. and, it sucks even more that it will just be starting to pick up again as i am leaving for NY. however, we are supposed to be closed for about a week in the middle of january (sometime around the 15th) for remodeling. 3good things come of this: 1) week-long paid vacation; 2) a week to finish up any warm-clothes shopping for the cold, NY winter; 3) finally a no-excuses allowed chance to take a road trip to visit asher in her college habitat.
