i'm alive in Florida!!
19 days until my externship is over and the 2 1/2 weeks of road tripping can begin!!!! WOO HOO!!!! i have been looking forward to this for so long, you don't even know. it's a chance to spend some quality time with just Chris (since he's being SO SUPER AWESOME and letting me crash at his place for like a week). Then, it's off to Atlanta to see the bestest friend a girl could ever possibly ask for (i'm SOOOO EXCITED TO SEE YOU JAKE!!!!) and THEN, i'll get to spend a week of quality time with the older sis, including at least 2 straight days of being in the car together as we make our way up to NY. hopefully we won't kill eachother...haha, just kidding. i think it's going to be awesome. i haven't really talked with her in a while, so it'll be nice it just being the 2 of us for a little while...a chance to catch up and stuff...and re-kindle the good old days of listening to awesome music in the ghetto van (only this time it will be in the saturn...but, you get the idea). so, yeah. and THEN after all that, i'll FINALLY get to see ASHLEY and hopefully SARAH in Pennsylvania...it's been FAR too long since i've seen them. like, 6 months, at least. and after ALL THAT, it'll be time to move back into the dorms at the CIA and regroup with all the awesome people i've gotten to know there. yay! THEN, it'll be time to ROCK OUT to QUEEN in CONCERT with my fellow classic-rock lover, Chrissy. YAY!!!! it's going to be a busy, yet SUPER AWESOME next month and a half. fo sho!
but the fun doesnt stop there! once i'm back in the swing of things at school, i'll be slowly planning what i want to do for my parents' 25th wedding anniversary, as well as how me, chris, and jake are going to spend our 3-week summer break in California. And all of this will be going on while i work on keeping my new years resolutions and making sure i make the most of my free time. and NOT spend it BORED out of my MIND sitting in the dorms...especially now that i'll have my CAR with me!!! yay! no excuses! even if i don't have money to go and do something, i can still explore the poughkeepsie area (i haven't really seen the woods and such around there yet, but hear they're beautiful. and a nice, peaceful walk in the woods would be a nice way to unwind after a stressful week and such). so, yeah. i have a feeling that this year is going to be more awesome than the last one. it will be full of adventure, the making of new, awesome memories with the people i love, and hopefully finding someone more than a friend that i can share all of this fun with. that's going to be the toughest one, since i usually only hang out with girls and gay men at school. but, i'm willing to branch out. even if nothing comes of it, i can at least say i tried. alright, now it's time to get back to the here and now and face my externship book....i'm almost caught up!
