(no subject)
Last night was full of more surprises...
Dan, this cute guy Jake met at the Wave on Saturday, asked Jake anda friend to come hang outat his house last night. so, he thought of me. He picked us up at the dorms around 10, and we hung out until about 2. During the course of these 4 hours lots of stuff happened...nothing horrible, but some stuff neither jake or i were very cool with. Dan smokes (both cigarettes and pot), which we are both cool with, but choose not to participate in. after the first hour or so, dan was taking a hit every 15-20 minutes. we weren't really too keen on how much smoking was going on, but whatever. anyways, when we got back to the CIA, we went to our separate rooms. i have all of my food (ritz crackers, girl scout cookies, etc) on my desk. i walk in my room, see the GS cookies, and think, "Mmm...cookies. those sound really good." i'm one to do midnight snacking, either. this morning, Jake said his pupils were dialated when he looked in the mirror last night. when he was talking to his roommate, i guess he wasn't making too much sense, bc he kept asking jake what crazy shit he was on. as you may have guessed, we got a little high from the smoke of the pot Dan had been smoking. it's funny now, but i was kind of upset when i realized it last night and again this morning, since i've chosen to not partake in those activities. but, it wasn't really our fault, right? right.
i guess that was the only really exciting thing that went on at Dan's house. He's a really funny guy (hopefully that wans't just bc of all the pot he was smoking), and the 4 of us (including Dan's friend Jackie) had a great time talking and listening to music.
tonight, i was in Jake's room (surprise, surprise), and he was talking to Dan online. he got a phone call, so he told me to talk to him. eventually, Dan's friend (also named Dan) got on, and we talked for about 20 minutes. he sounds like a really cool guy, some one i'd like to get to know better. he's a metal-head, with a huge nose ring and stretched ear lobes. i don't think i'm his type, though, since i son't have any piercings, tatoos, etc. it was fun talking to him, though. i would say that maybe the 4 (me, Jake, Dan and Dan) could all hang out, but Jake's Dan is leaving for CA Saturday morning for a month as part of the Bachalor's program, so that won't happen. maybe when Dan gets back, if him and Jake are still a potential item, we can work something out. it would be cool even if we were just friends, or whatever.
the Alliance Club here (which i'm an active member of, and, a leader-in-training for) is participating in the 2005 NY Aids Walk, which i'm walking in (and, along with 3 other people, in charge of fundraising for).
