why I like soccer
so of course the whole world is watching world cup and so am I. The mexico/Iran game is tied right now at 1 all. I love that soccer is a game with many rules, that are rarely followed. Goalies can only take four steps with the ball and only use their hands in the goalie box. But it seems that anywhere in the 18 yard box is ok for hands, and you can have as many steps as you like. The game is much more organic and free flowing, the ref rarely has to do anything apart from call fouls. They all know when it is out and who hit it out, it is a game of honesty and sportsmanship. That being said, if the ref doesnt call a foul when he should, the jsutice on the feild can be swift and powerful. Why we as a americans arent crazy over this game I will never understand. We have room in our lives, noone likes hockey anyway, to watch MLS and make it a legit league if we all realized how exciting the game of Almosts is.
