The Melodrama of Nineteen Ninety Nine.

We had all the answers back in ninety nine, dinja

Sunshine dropped, cock blocked mono façade, there was Vicodin in bed

Red head bombshells never said why, but left, paused in imprint sober face

Mentally, we wrote haikus in bed

Tonsils swollen shut

Red head bombshell gone for now

Vicodin to eat with

Haikus never sufficed for when Len came on with sunshine, or Kid Rock knows why

Bones, nostalgia, big cold death from why two kays. We wore sunscreen.

It never fell, the sky, and we asked more questions before the eleventh, waiting for sky

Looking under beds, never really reaching what we knew in ninety nine.
