Coolest Boss Ever
I have to say where I work the most retarded people live there. It's like a bubble of rich snobs that thinks the world revolves around them. Granted not every one is like that but there are the cities far share of them. The other day this lady who was driving a mercades suv starts going down the wrong way of traffic so she could get the parking spot right up front. In the procces of doing this she off roads over to islands and cuts in front of an elderly couple with a handicap plate while having her two young kids under the age of five in the car. Then this lady has the nerve to leave her two kids under the age of five in the car, with the keys in the igntion, so she could run to Trader Joes really quick. My boss was like "hell no she is not leaving her kids in the car." So he goes out there and says to the lady before she enters the store "so you gona leave your kids in the car?" Her response "I'm only going to be two minutes." My boss then said "oh I'm just speaking as a conserned parent myself, I just wanted to make sure that you were doing what I thought you were doing." Then there was a gental men in the parking lot who also saw what was going on who also spoke up saying "I can't believe that you would actually leave your kids in the car!" By then the lady was getting all huffy and puffy at this. She storms back to her car, grabs her kids and takes them inside with her. After my boss walked back in to the bakery I aplauded him for doing what he did. I already respected my boss but he just earned major brownie points there.
I'm now an offical key holder for the store. I have the key to lock and unlock the bakery itself and the key for the money bag. I'm responsible for closing the registers at night and giving change through out the day. Thats way cool that they would trust me like that but what sucks is the fact that I get all the responsiblty with out the pay or the title. One cool thing about it though is when we need a letter of recomendation or something of that sort my boss's sister, who does all the hiring and firing is the first to say go ahead an put down that you run the store. So it's good that they see what we do is consider magement material even though they might not pay us the right amount for what we do.
