Mac and Webdesign Software

Feb 24, 2008 13:20

Okay, here goes.

I have a website. A very OLD website that I created with Claris Homepage 2.0 which gives you a clue as to how bloody old it is.

I purchased a MacBook Pro last year and had to get used to the differences between 9.2 and OS 10.4. I find myself wanting to work on the site, but at a loss as to what software is out there for someone with no code writings skills whatsoever. GoLive seemed very flexible, but trying to figure things out made my eyes bleed.

I need something easy to work with that allows me the luxury of changing the backgrounds, etc., so that I can use my own, other than the preloaded **** that comes with iWeb.

I'm not that much of a technopeasant. I've been able to purchase programs in the past and sort of play with them to figure out what I needed to learn. It appears that those days may be gone.

Any pointers and suggestions would be appreciated.

ugh
