Just like the title says.
thespianmobile and I went to see Corteo last night. It was awesome. Ever so slightly less amazingly awesome than other Cirque du Soleil shows we've seen, but still mindblowingly amazing. Lots of "Oooh, pretty", "Holy crap!" and "They are not doing that, that's just not possible!"
Mystery Medical Ailment du Jour
I tweaked my shoulder. Doing absolutely nothing. Driving along to work, minding my own business and "Ow!" Maybe it's sympathy pains from watching the people-chucking trapeze artists last night.
Whine
Now, I understand that there are solid biological reasons for this phenomenon. However the fact that chocolate, arguably the yummiest substance in existence, has such a ludicrously high calorie-to-volume ratio, feels like the universe is purposefully playing a cruel joke. On me, personally.
"Oh, woe is me. My existence is pain. I can't eat all the candy I fucking want. Boo hoo."
The fact that we have all this obesity-inducing candy around to celebrate Go Red for Women Day... is another story entirely.
