Today was pretty boring, not gonna lie. I was up way to late last night and payed for it today. Muy tired. Unlike the bucket hat crew, I despise Mondays. Sorry ladies and gents, but 'tis true.
Practice last weekend was dry less about 10 minutes, so the was an EXCELLENT surprise for me. I thoroughly enjoyed that.
Larry made us run lots and lots. Then we stopped. We then proceeded to run again. And again. But hey, what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger, right? :-/ The worst part is I LOVE it. go fricken figure. only me.
It also seems like blasting away for three days a week is wreaking havoc with my range on trumpet. over the last few weeks, it's gone down a HUGE amount and i don't like it at all. I need to find a way to fix that...
Busy weeks ahead to say the least. A few concerts coming up which should be cool. Looking foward to the band banquet a lot. Then graduation! woot!
I'll say this. I will NOT feel bad about leaving the academy one bit. But the people WILL be sorely missed.
Alright kids (and adults ;-) ) the night is winding down adn I need some sleep.
