So today I decided to take a little foodie risk, and take a little trot to Tony's Deli, just down the block. I'd never been in, but had always driven past and said to myself, "I should try that someday."

So today I did.

And it transpires that it's a lovely little mom and pop, staffed by one family of three brothers and what I assume was dad and uncle (all Armenian men; this is Glendale after all). They sell cold cuts by the pound, freshly sliced, or a lovely selection of sandwiches and soups and salads.

But the kicker, the thing that will get me back in that door over and over again, is the fact that they had real Coca-Cola in there. The kind made with sugar-cane instead of corn syrup, and served up in slim and curvy glass bottles.

Yes and thank you please.

I am happily savoring my Coke right now, and the sandwich is excellent. HOORAY FOOD.

i'm not a foodie i just like eating
