BLIND GUARDIAN CONCERT!
i saw Blind Guardian last thursday! YAAAYYYYY! they were quite excellent. i got there kind of late though...i arrived at 8:45 and it started at 9. oooops lol (i had prior commitments). i couldn't find czarine and her metal friends cuz they were typically in the front while i was in the middle and it was virtually impossible to get to them. for a while, i was standing behind the 3 tallest guys there. UGHHH. but then i moved later. i am glad that they played nightfall and a lot of their old stuff (cuz the old stuff is better). i can almost die happy now...almost.
i really don't understand how there was a pit at blind guardian. i mean...its blind fffing guardian! its not log, atreyu, or god forbid...its blind guardian. i dont get it. anyway, i was thrown into it unexpectedly (because i didn't think there would be a pit in BG) and i got pushed around for a while. i was definetely not in the mood to get beat up by a bunch of drunk metal guys lol but i was saved by one. he took me to the side and was like, "you stay here honey." and i was like oh cool! my life was saved by a bald drunk metal guy. another life goal completed. he was definetey drunk though - he told me i smelled good when i clearly reeked of angry metal sweat....then he told me about chants in south america. go figure. czarine said he's drunk at every show lol.
i'm going back to the city this friday i think...hopefully. i am stuck taking my sis to a Brand New concert. BLEHHH! she told me that dashboard is playing with them too but she said that if she goes she's not staying for them. i hapen to like dashboard confessional. they remind me of good memories...anyway, she has really bad taste. i think i have a date that day, if everything goes as planned. its up in the air but i am excited :)
oh yeah, i started my christmas present shopping today. surprisingly i didnt wait until the 22nd like i usually do lol. so i have to know soon who wants to trade presents and who doesn't so i can plan in advance and such :)
