Life has been REALLY GOOD this past week and a half or so:
+Steph, Em, and my trio going really well at Prism even though I was sick
+Film Fest and the subsequent insane festivities at Ilana's (penfield senior bonding!)
+WINNING INTERPOL tickets and seeing an AMAZING show with Steph in Niagara Falls
+getting into Syracuse/half getting into NYU (stupid general studies program!)
+All-County this weekend being both my last All County/State choir ever and the hands down best All County/State choir I've ever been in.(Thanks to the gorgeous music we did, our AWESOME conductor, the awesome kids I was with, and the amazingly tight performance we gave). It kind of freaked me out that next time I'm on that stage I'll be in a cap and gown.
+Dr VanVliet wants me to do the National French Contest which is really cool for me since I've never been asked to do that in my five years of French. I'm kind of worried, cause all the other kids she asked to do it are REALLY REALLY SMART, but I'm still flattered that she'd even ask me.
+Ms. A put on my five week report that in voice I've made significant improvements in the past marking period, and come to think of it, I have. Doing that trio made me have to work really hard on my register change, which is something I've always been super self-conscious about, and I feel as if it's become more seamless as a result- yay!
+Girly bonding is oh so fun :)
+I am the proud new owner of South Park Season V
But as Poison has oh-so-wisely asserted in their quintissential 80s ballad, "Every rose has its thorn":
-My mom's PO'd about my 5 week report cause Stewart left negative commentsa bout how I never go to his class/do any of the work, seeing as how that class is at 7:30 am and is the psychological equivelant of getting gangreen in every one of my limbs and then having them mercilessly amputated sans anesthesia. So now she probably won't let me sleep in as much.
-Though I haven't actually gained any weight whatsoever, I feel really fat. Go figure.
-I have hardcore senioritis and I've been just unmotivated overall
Oh well 9-3= an overall positive me.
