The dental procedure wasn't as bad as expected. It's definitely not a day at the spa. Anesthetic has worn off and I'm not in any pain. It feels...alien. And my brain is fried. But I still have to get this #@%@#$ proposal written. The dentist was right-on with his estimates for time and price. Luckily his guess that it would be an "easy" procedure (for him) was as well. My dad has a mouth full of dental work. I don't know how he lives with it. It seems like every trip to the dentist, for him, involves another implant or device. It would seriously freak me out.
I worked out hard last night to take my mind off the *menacing chord* impending procedure.
Bench Press: 115 lbs, 3x3 + 120 lbs, 5x1 (new personal best)
Overhead Press: 80 lbs, 5x3
Bent Over Rows (superset with Shrugs): 105 lbs, 5x5
Incline Rows: 60 lbs, 5x5 (went up in weight)
Side Bends: 50 lbs, 3x10, super set with Triceps: 45 lb plate, 3x10
Lever lat pulldown: 55 lbs each side, 5x5
Incline sit ups: 35 lb plate, 3x10
And, once again, with meetings, "training sessions" and other stuff that has to be done during the week I'm having a hard time getting stuff done. So it looks like I'm going to try to get into the lab at some point this weekend, although for just a few hours.
