Thanksgiving is close at hand and I honestly can't wait for a break. Technically I think I mentally checked out on Wednesday of this week, but I still have to go through the motions until Tuesday 5pm. Its super hard to focus on my full time job when I have so many things related to my personal life going on.

In addition to getting my application ready for grad school, which means writing essays, coordinating letters of recommendation to be sent, and getting my resume together,
I'm also taking the MATs on Monday. I NEED to pass them first time around to get into my grad program for the spring, which will take me 5 years to complete and not the anticipate 2. Good thing most of the courses are on-line so even if I don't work here any more (and I definitely don't plan on being here for 5 YEARS) I can still get my master's and certification to be a school psychologist. However before I can start the program in the Spring I have to finish my teaching certificate program now. So I'm currently enrolled in that which comes complete with homework and entire weekend classes. Friday 6-9, Saturday 9-5, sunday 9-1. At least class ends Sunday, but the work doesn't. I have research papers and online stuff to do. URGH!! Oh by the way I'm posting when I'm in class because I am learning NOTHING!!

At least with all this stress going on i get some peace. Tomorrow night I get to hang out with Kim and go shopping during Menlo's night of giving. It always turns out to be a night of giving for us and never a successful Christmas shopping night.

In other news Niki is in Maine and staying at a place full of buggies. Or at least she tells me via text message. I already miss her lots. And speaking of missing people I really miss Lindsay, my silly beer chug song singing cousin. She's still in Europe (Italy to be exact) and we intermitantly send each other emails and posts on facebook.
