Am I the only one who watches those commercials for grape juice with Elton where he's all "my favorite way to get tannins is grape juice" and says "yeah, right!" I mean who really prefers grape juice to wine? Seriously, grape juice is the worst juice out there. Anyhow, I'm totally in love with this wine shop that opened up recently in my neighborhood. Free wine tasting, a nice international selection, and a simple menu of such things as pizzetas on hand are just the tip of the iceburg. The tables are made of wine corks. The staff is exactly the right amount of friendly. I am rather in love.
Although I just canceled netflix I'm already in misery. Lack of SGA leads to: depression, tearing of hair, and gnashing of teeth. But my cousin, in her infinite kindness, made me a copy of SGA season 2 vols 3, 4, 5 which should help some with the withdrawal. If I get really desparate I can always watch season 5 on hulu, although I'm really against watching non-dvd tv.
Am I the only one who saw the news about Carradine's death and thought 'that's the way to go?' Seriously, I'm not planning on ever having children, and I'm planning on outliving my parents, so if I can die in such a position, I'll die happy.
Finally, let me just say, for the record, FOX sucks. Yeah, we're all happy you're renewing DH for another season. But could you do it under any worse conditions? I mean, not only did they schedule it on Friday nights once again (a sure ratings-killer if ever there was), but now that they've canceled T:SC they're replacing that time-slot with comedies. Two sitcoms!!! What is the world coming to?!?
