Two things that are awesome about it
1. Well, I do like the good ol' "second love, second chances" dynamic, and themes of love and redemption. XD
2. If you look at it - and depending on the Heroine's characterization - they're both isolated souls, and could easily find kinship with each other. In romantic sense, two lonely individuals find one another.
One thing that is not so awesome about it
1. Lack of fandom love in general, for one. Escad's a butthead, to put it lightly.
Two ways I'd love to write it
1. For an Escad-centric story, learning to let go and love again. Awwwww...
2. For a Heroine-centric story, the sweetly amusing "wait WHAT?! I'm in love with HIM?! ...Well!" dynamic.
One person I'd add for a threesome or for bonus angst/fireworks/etc
1. Daena, if for a sly, "You like her/him, don't you?" in-story character-shipping-other-characters context.

Two things that are awesome about it
1. Their friendship, and they that they've supported and helped one another through their ordeal. That's the big "ship seller" for me. XD
2. Kickassery is always a plus.
One thing that is not so awesome
1. Fandom!Lise is consistently the cutesy "sweet and innocent" type, while Fandom!Hawk is consistently the flirty womanizer. Lise strikes me as being a sweet person, but she's not completely innocent. And Hawk, I think, throws up jocular barriers to mask pain.
Two ways I'd love to write it
1. A little something emphasizing their close friendship with romantic undertones.
2. Madcap silliness involving Angela.
One person I'd add for a threesome or for bonus angst/fireworks/etc
1. Angela. Like Daena for EscadxHeroine, she's the in-story shipper on board.
But really, I think I've only scratched the tip of the iceberg for these two pairings; I really should get around to drafting a proper manifesto. XD
