I'm bored. Nothing really much to say. Journal spam, much? XD
Actually, I think I'll post a fic I've been dragging around and never got around to posting or putting up until now. XD Expect a cleaned-up version to appear on Inner Universe and FFN sometime soon. If not, then hit me with a blunt heavy instrument. XD And excuse sporadic jumps in quality; wrote most of my fics these days in brain-fart mode, running on half-full.
Worth It
Some things in life were worth fighting for - things such as honor, justice, revenge, love... All such things were worth it in the end.
Honor was worth it because his very core being as at stake - everything he thought was right and wrong, was true and false lay on the line, and that old knight’s code called for action against those who would do harm. Justice was worth it because stealing the elemental powers of a dear beloved friend, and then rising to power with the intent of doing deeds of destruction warranted the will and the zeal to fight back. Revenge was worth it because he had suffered ten long, horrible years in the Underworld, and that Matilda was now dying and he felt completely powerless to make it all stop. This was the only way he knew what to do, and the only he could even plausibly gain some sort of control over the situation.
And Love was worth it because a girl with hairsticks challenged him, accepted him, cared for him and loved him for who and what he was - the good and the bad, the perfections and the flaws. And now here she was running off to save the world, fighting in his stead, raising her sword against Irwin. And this forced Escad to wake up and see that out of all of these things that he was fighting for, love was the only one worth dying for...

Speaking of Fandom and Inner Universe...I want to write a Doctor Who/Legend of Mana/Seiken Densetsu crossover fic. With Escad and Hawkeye as companions. Wreaking havoc. The awesome would pwn. And I really should update Inner Universe. And now I'm rambling. That is all.
