so, I'm back from over the seas...my plants are still quite healthy (tho a little parched), I'm quite excited about my strawberries and potatoes cos they're coming into flower!
The outside tomatoes are slowly recovering from the shock of being planted out, still a little poorly though.
And the redcurrant tree/bush is growing quite tall too.
What I'm most excited about though is my Root Vegetables!
I was just thinning them out a bit, cos there's about a hundred more plants in the container than there should be, and they've turned into Baby Carrots & Parsnips & Leeks!
So I'm going to eat them for my tea.
nomnomnom...
Strawberry flowers
My very own harvest of veg!
The trees outside my window - not planted by me, but very lovely none the less. Especially in the sunshine.

Lettuces still going strong and I'm eating some for my lunch most days
Redcurrant! getting nice and tall but not flowering yet (probably the wrong time of year for that)
My "outside tomatoes" are looking better, not quite as tall as my "indoor tomatoes" yet. I need to plant out the indoor tomatoes in a trough so that they will stop blowing over when they go outside.
My potatoes are flourishing too - dwarfing my christmas tree (it's in the middle!)
Look! One's coming into flower! That one's Catriona variety, the other is Kestrel and took a while longer to start sprouting so probably a couple of weeks behind.
According to my friend, the time to harvest them is when the flowers are over so probably another month yet - they're second earlies.
I'm not sure if I'll have time to put some more into the bags as a maincrop but I think it'll be too late.
