Cheddar (the gorge, mainly)
so, Marzipan went climbing again today. Cheddar Gorge is lovely this time of year (actually, any time of year. I think it's great)
Oddly, it was more windy at the bottom of the cliff than actually climbing - not sure whether the cliff was more sheltered than standing a few feet away from it, or whether the gorge does odd things to the air currents. Probably the first one.
I seconded and top roped (that's where somebody else takes the rope up and leaves it for you), which is a bit asier than leading cos i'm not very confident but I got to the top on all the routes I did! Yay!
And for my lunch I had sandwiches with my lettuces in! As well as some tuna and salad cream. Nomnomnom.
Some other things have probably happened, but i forget what.
