Awesome welshness?

well yesterday I went to Snow & Rock to get me some climbing shoes. So i got the train to filton Abbey Wood and cycled, and got to play with my new speedometer. I'm sure it's telling me I'm going faster than I really am... But anyway, so far so awesome.
And I needed to go to the garden centre to get some more pond weed for the fishes. So I decided to go straight there from the train centre. This meant I was going a different way to normal, and i ended up on the wrong road. oops. also since i was on the country roads, there was no turning due to the marshyiness of the land... I had a nice scenic cycle ride around the side of Nailsea though.
And I ended up near church which reminded me that the mother's Union were having a flower festival which had lots of lovely flower arrangements! My friend A* was on the Fairtrade stall so she asked me to bake some cakes for the evening service today (people take turns)

I was going to just make tea loaf like normal but then i thought I'd try bara brith since it's Dydd Dewi Sant. hm... not made bara brith before... I'm not doing very well at yeast-based baking at the moment. I think I need to find a better place to rise the dough.
The Welsh Cakes were much better though, and fortunately there were loads of cakes left from the flower festival anyway!

So, awesome or not? Hmm.
I did drill some more holes in the wall without breaking my electricity though!
