hmmmm
So tonight I had an interesting evening. Vanessa, Jen, and I met this weird kid at Johnny V's... Then Vanessa and I drove around randomly, then I dropped her off and came home (i had a headache and a need to be alone).
So I watched "Win a date with tad hamilton" and I cried. Yes. I cried. First because they weren't together like they should be, but then because they were all happy and crap. Then I went for a drive.
While driving, I called kara and told her the tale of the crying, so we decided to hang out. I picked her up and showed her the weird abandoned house, then we tried to go to Webbs in Tosa for some ice cream and i saw something that ENRAGED me. There is now NO SMOKING in that Webbs.... For those of you who don't know, the state of wisconsin is trying to pass legislation to ban smoking in all public places.
This outrages me for 2 reasons. One being that I am a smoker and I shouldn't have to keep my nasty habit to myself... :) The second reason being that if a place of business wants to allow smoking, then they should be able to allow smoking. The government should have no say in it. There are plenty of restuarants that have no smoking as a choice of policy, which is fine. I just don't think it's right for the government to come in and say what a private business owner can and cannot allow in their place of business.
So I went on a rampage because of that... then we went to the Webbs on greenfield and I was happy. I could smoke... and now I'm home. Watching Underworld...
